Party Like it's 793! 2024 Mead, Metal, and Viking Festival

Since 2018 we have celebrated the start of the Viking Age in the West with a party at The Brimming Horn Meadery.

On June 8th, 793 the island monastery of Lindisfarne was attacked by Viking raiders, which is the date scholars normally use as the start of the Viking Age in the West.

Join us for a weekend of live music, food and craft vendors, and every Viking's favorite drink...MEAD!!! You can even come and meet some of our Viking reenactors and learn a bit of history.
