On a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Little Assawoman Bay, the park offers guarded ocean swimming in summer, with a bathhouse and snack bar. Surfing and surf fishing are allowed in designated ocean beaches and watercraft rentals are available on the bay. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset.
