On Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 pm, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS) in partnership with Oceana and DE local organizations, MERR Institute and Plastic Free Delaware will present a relevant and timely (FREE) screening of the compelling documentary We’re All Plastic People Now. An encore (FREE) screening is confirmed for Saturday, May 4 at 2:00 pm. We’re All Plastic People Now is an Emmy Award winning documentary introduced by Actor and environmentalist Ted Danson. Featured at the 2024 Santa Fe Film Festival, the documentary gives rise to an era of throw-away ease. For all the marvelous applications and uses of plastic, the convenience has cost humans’ their well-being. Micro plastics is found in the air, waterways, soil and now, inside our bodies -- in our colons, our brains, breast milk and developing wombs.
