Vanishing Landscapes

This month, the 15  local artists of Gallery One are showing original paintings of their perspectives on the theme of "Vanishing Landscapes".  Inspired by the beauty of this area the artists try to capture what time or weather has change the vistas in Delmarva.  One area, farms are on view from soybean crops that are almost finished to cows from dairy farms that have disappeared.  Changes to the to the  topography of land abound because of climate change with examples of the artic ice caps melting to local lands as Tilman Island schrinking due to rising waters.  Change of season has season capture some of the artists’ imaginations has fall arives. While iconic local images like the Dolles’ sign are retired to museums.  The heart filled images are on displayed if varied mediums. Venue: Gallery One.
