Sur la Table Exhibition

Peninsula Gallery invites you to enjoy some artistic delicacies in their April exhibition, Sur la Table, translated from French to mean ‘on the table.’ This show focuses on objects commonly found on or around the kitchen table, with each artist translating those parameters into something unique to their personalities.      The collection features a mixture of styles, with some artists opting for traditional still life and others taking a more modernist approach to the theme. Bright, colorful, and delicious, this show is sure to whet your appetite!    Artists featured in this exhibition are: Jennifer Kahn Barlow, Laura Bethmann, Kristin Blanck, Jan Crooker, Barbara Efchak, and Nina Mickelsen. Sur la Table is on display from April 2nd to 30th. Works from the show can be previewed at www.peninsula-gallery.com and are available for pre-sale.  A reception will be held on Saturday, April 2, from 5 to 6:30 pm, and attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with some of the artists during the evening.
