Southern Delaware Wine, Food, & Music Festival
Attention all food, wine and music lovers! The 9th Annual Southern Delaware Wine, Food, & Music Festival will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12noon until 3:30 pm at Schellville in Rehoboth Beach, DE. This new date follows a postponement from October 2024, announced by President and festival founder Stacy LaMotta.
"I am excited and thankful to once again present this award-winning festival for our community," said LaMotta. "I appreciate everyone who contributed to making the festival possible and who supported the decision to postpone last year's event. This year's festival at Schellville will continue our tradition of being a premier event in the state, highlighting what our cherished Delaware coastal area has to offer."
The wine, food & music festival will feature over 20 local restaurants offering amazing dishes as well as 100 different tastes of wine, cocktails, craft beer, and mocktails. A live Chef Throwdown and great music will entertain the guests along with a bourbon tasting, silent auction and wine wall.
Since its inception in 2015, LaMotta's Southern Delaware Wine, Food, & Music Festival has brought thousands of individuals together to celebrate the culinary excellence and passionate community of Delaware's beach coast, raising over $250,000 to support many local nonprofits.
This year, the beneficiaries will be Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and the Harry K Foundation. The Healthy Homes Initiative at Sussex County Habitat for Humanity has served over 2,500 individuals in Sussex County through home construction and preservation, home repairs, financial literacy, and energy-efficient upgrades. The Harry K Foundation delivers programs to eliminate hunger and food insecurity among children in Delaware. Since 2013, the Foundation has established and funded 52 school pantries and sponsors the School Backpack program, providing food for a weekend, holidays, and summer breaks to over 630 children.
