Seal Watching with MERR Institute • Lewes Ferry

We have visitors from the north! Learn more from our friends at the MERR Institute on this NARRATED tour as we cruise out into the Delaware Bay to safely and respectfully observe harbor and gray seals.  They can be seen locally during the colder months resting on the inner and outer breakwater walls of our bay. At their peak, sometimes a colony of 50-75+ seals have been seen all together in our area. Some have even given birth while “vacationing” here! We should also see winter birds.
