Seal Watching • Lewes Ferry

We have visitors from the north! Cruise out into the Delaware Bay with us in the WINTER MONTHS -generally December through April- as we safely and respectfully observe harbor and gray seals (normally 50-100 feet away). They can be seen locally during the colder months resting on the inner and outer breakwater walls of our bay. At their peak, sometimes a colony of 50-100+ seals have been seen all together in our area. Some have even given birth while “vacationing” here! We should also see winter birds.
