REHOBOTH BEACH PRIDE FILM FEST
The Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS) announces the 2025 Rehoboth Beach PRIDE Film Fest (Thursday, October 9 through Sunday, October 12.) at the Cinema Art Theater in Lewes. The PRIDE Film Fest is in partnership with CAMP Rehoboth and shines a light on the LGBTQ+ experience through documentaries, features and international films.
Hosted at the Cinema Art Theater (CAT), the PRIDE program has been confirmed and here are a few film highlights.
Of the 15 documentaries, features and international films selected, the festival starts Thursday, October 9 with the crime thriller “Pooja Sir”, a Shorts Film block, Denmark drama “Sauna” and our Opening Night film, “Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror,” a documentary about a London theater play that evolves into a groundbreaking cult phenomenon, featuring iconic songs and performances that celebrate individuality. The legacy lives on through midnight screenings and a devoted following that spans generations.
The program enters day two on Friday with another Short Films block and three films including “Sally!” which will be followed by a Zoom Q & A with Filmmaker Deborah Alice Craig.
On Saturday, October 11, the Film Festival will host a reception at 6:45 pm before the documentary “Human of Pride,” which captures the once in a generation moment in NYC when WorldPride came to the United States for the first time to commemorate 50 years since the Stonewall Riots.
The Festival concludes Sunday, the 12th with a Mimosa Brunch at 12 noon and continues with a line-up of compelling films: “The True Story of Tamara De Lempicka and the Art of Survival,” “It’s Dorothy,” and “Peter Hujar’s Day.”

Festival admission is $15 per film for general admission, $12.00 for RBFS members, and $5 for students with ID (student tickets are available only at the theater box office). VIP Passes are $200 for general admission and $150 for RBFS members.
