Private Art Collection Tours

Selbyville, DE – The Carl M. Freeman Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of private tours of its art
collection, beginning on September 17. This unique opportunity allows the public to explore the curated
selection of works by female artists, including many from minority backgrounds. The tours will offer a glimpse
into a collection that reflects the Foundation’s commitment to promoting diversity and supporting the arts.
The collection, titled HerStory, features contemporary works that tell a unique story, capturing the essence of
the artist’s cultural heritage and personal journeys. Through vibrant colors, innovative techniques, and powerful
narratives, the collection offers an inspiring view of the world through the eyes of its female creators. Curated
by Virginia Shore, the collection features female artists including Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons, Linling Lu,
and Delaware’s own Samara Weaver among many others.
