Pop-Up Opera

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater (CAT) presents OperaDelaware’s Pop-Up Opera on Sunday, September 29. This FREE outdoor event is from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm in the CAT parking lot at 17701 Dartmouth Drive, Lewes (behind Wawa) and is open to public. Just bring your lawn chair and the family for an afternoon of live performance by OperaDelware of Wilmington.

OperaDelaware’s Pop-Up Opera program began as a necessity during the pandemic, but quickly evolved into a statewide tool for engagement, education, and welcoming new audiences! Pop-Up Opera introduces Delawareans across the state to the remarkable talent and power of live opera, brought right to you on their Mobile Opera Stage. With a roster of talented artists, a pianist, and an emcee it’s fun for all. Participants can expect a supercharged t-shirt cannon, bubble machines, prizes, and giveaways. Pop-Up Opera is an EXPERIENCE you don’t want to miss.
