JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION

Celebration of the Juneteenth Holiday. Day begins with a parade at 10:00 am led by the Buffalo Soldiers, followed by local organizations. Food and merchandise vendors honoring holiday. Program consisting of Nanticoke Indians dance; theatrical groups; local gospel choir; politicians; local history discussions, car show; many giveaways and door prizes!
