Holiday Village and Market
The LHS Holiday Village & Market will bring cheer to the Lewes Historical Society's main campus at 110 Shipcarpenter Street on Friday, December 2nd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3rd. Vendor participation is by invitation only and represents the absolute best holiday merchandise available. Buy fresh greenery to liven your home, lend an ear to enjoy favorite Christmas readings by historic characters, and view historic chocolate and tea demonstrations, all at this family-friendly event. Take a cozy horse and carriage ride through the Lewes Historic District; there is a special pony cart for the little shoppers. Top off your visit with a cup of hot cider or a cold ale inside the historic Sussex Tavern at Rabbits Ferry House and transport to a warm refuge on a cold winter’s day in the early 1800s.
Event fee - $5.00 per person. Children 12 and under FREE and are available at the gate
