Hauntings, Ghosts and Ghouls On Civil War Battlefields

Today, Civil War sites are believed to be prime locations of paranormal activity. Credible, responsible witnesses swear to the sightings of tortured souls “seeking their way across.”

On October 14, Civil War enthusiast Sandy Boyar will take you on a ghostly exploration of 13 (yes, 13!) “haunted” Civil War sites on the Antietam, Maryland and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania battlefields.

Belief in the hereafter or the supernatural is not a requirement. But do bring a healthy curiosity to explore history in a highly unconventional manner. We guarantee you will learn a few things you might not know and ponder a few things you might not even have imagined.

Sandy Boyar is a longtime History, Civil War, and President Lincoln enthusiast who has visited nearly every Civil War and Lincoln site in the United States. He is also a self-proclaimed Sci-Fi, Horror, and Supernatural “freak” and runs the Sci-Fi Film Society at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville, DE.  He has presented numerous programs on these topics and is looking forward to meeting everyone at the Manor House on October 14.
