Film Screening: DelMarVa and the Ground for Change

The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, in collaboration with the
Sussex Conservation District and the University of Delaware, invites the community to a special
screening of the impactful documentary, "DelMarVa and the Ground for Change." The event will
take place at the Georgetown Public Library (123 West Pine Street, Georgetown, DE 19947) on
Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
"DelMarVa and the Ground for Change" focuses on the vital role of farmers around the
Chesapeake and Delaware Bays as environmental stewards. The documentary illustrates how
these farmers are leading the way in adopting practices that protect and promote healthy soils,
crucial for the sustainability of our region. Additionally, these practices serve as a defense
mechanism for working lands against the challenges posed by climate change.
