Dewey Goes Pink

The first Saturday in October in Dewey Beach is synonymous with Dewey Goes Pink
and The Gugie Run, an annual 5K race and fundraiser. The event paints the town pink
and brings together families, friends, and fundraising teams to raise awareness for
breast cancer. On Saturday, October 5th, prepare for another special weekend at The
Starboard! Dewey Goes Pink helps bring in vital funds that support healing right here in
Sussex County. The event has grown exponentially over the last 13 years. It includes
both a a 5K Race/Walk and a 1.5 Mile Fun Walk - both sold out in August, but there are
still lots of ways to participate!
