Delmarva Paddling Weekend: Broadkill River Paddle

This event date has passed.

Register today! We’ll meet at Memorial Park in Milton and load the van for a shuttle to Oyster Rocks for a one-way back, ~10-mile paddle with the incoming tide on the Broadkill River. We’ll kayak through an expansive salt marsh that transitions into forested headwaters teeming with herons, osprey and basking turtles. Along the way, we’ll pass the Edward H. McCabe Preserve, which is managed by The Nature Conservancy. Quest Kayak will provide the portage to Oyster Rocks, and our kayaks will deliver us back to Milton. The adventure will begin and end at Memorial Park. PLEASE NOTE: this trip is subject to cancellation in the event of foul weather. If the trip is cancelled, full refunds will be issued.

After the paddle, join your fellow paddlers for world-famous craft beer and food at the Dogfish Head Brewery Tasting Room.
