The 2023 Paddlefest will occur at low tide. The launch site will be muddy and you should be prepared to carry your kayak 150 - 200 yards. The course route will also be adjusted as some of the narrow creeks are not navigable at low tide. You are required to wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, pfd, and bring water.
What Does My $25 ticket Include?
- An awesome, 4-mile paddling course through the beautiful marshes of Delaware Seashore State Park.
- A signature Paddlefest t-shirt
- A free beverage voucher (adult beverages qualify!)
- Paddlefest swag bag
- Waived park entrance fee
Kayaking Experience
A 4-mile kayaking excursion can take even the experienced paddler 2+ hours to complete. If you have never been kayaking before, we urge you to go kayaking several times before Paddlefest. The park offers kayak programs throughout the summer. Our partners at Coastal Kayak and Quest Adventures also offer rentals and instruction.
Kayak Rentals
Limited kayak rentals are available through Coastal Kayak or Quest Adventures on a first-come, first-served basis. It is important to reserve your kayak rental in advance. When making a reservation with one of our partners, please inform them that you are a Paddlefest participant. Coastal Kayak and Quest Adventures staff will deliver the kayaks to the event.
