Delaware Seashore Lighthouse Weekend
Enjoy a full weekend exploring the Delaware coast and learning about some of the historic lighthouses, life-saving stations, and maritime history of the area. The package includes a two night stay at the cottages on Indian River Inlet and an itinerary of lighthouse and maritime heritage tours and presentations. Tentative highlights of the weekend include a presentation by Mike Tougias, NY Times bestselling author of The Finest Hours, a tour of the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse hosted by the Cape Water Taxi, and a 19th century style surfmen dinner, complete with a very local menu served inside the Indian River Life-Saving Station.
