Community Unity Dinner

Dec 8, 2024

The Rehoboth Beach Main Street team is proud to introduce Chuck Synder, the 2024 Citizen of the Year. Chuck has been a City of Rehoboth Beach employee for more than three decades and a member of the city's volunteer fire company for many decades, currently serving as Fire Chief.
All are invited to come and celebrate Chuck at this year's 30th Annual Community Unity Dinner, scheduled for 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. The evening features an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner followed by dessert. It provides an opportunity to circulate through the event to meet and greet city residents and business owners for an evening dedicated to fun and comradery.
The event is a friendly, fun evening that focuses on bringing the community together for festivities. It will feature the Cape Henlopen Jazz band and the Sussex Dance Academy dancers performing scenes from The Nutcracker Suite. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be attending as our special guests.
Also, Mike Venanzi and Terry Kistler will be receiving Champion Awards for 2024, recognizing their volunteerism, effort, dedication, and commitment to supporting the downtown business community through Rehoboth Beach Main Street.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door or the RBMS office at 509 Rehoboth Avenue (302-227-2772). Guests can pay an additional $5 for unlimited wine and Dogfish Head beer.
