7th ANNUAL WAR AT THE SHORE

This year at least 15 local area restaurants will be participating in the spirit forward
event, which pairs mixology and chef collaborations. Sagamore Rye is providing the
spirits and the creativity will soar from there. What’s unique about pairing whiskey
cocktails with food is that isn’t like wine where they “bring out” the taste of the food and
beverage, but rather they complement the flavor of the whiskey when paired with the
food.
The War at the Shore will give the audience a unique view of this process, as well as a
big taste of these pairings! General admission tickets for the event are $40 and include
samples of the competitors food and drink pairings as well as ability to vote in the
competition. If you want a more up close and personal experience, there will also be 50
VIP tickets available for only $75, and that gets you early access to the venue, 1
welcome cocktail, a souvenir glass, small plate appetizers, first tastings of the
competitors drinks and food, exclusive opportunities to speak to the competitors about
their collaborations and businesses, first dibs at people's choice voting, and, possibly
one of the biggest perks of all, guaranteed seating.
