28th Annual Running of the Bull!

SATURDAY…Run is at 2pm, Fun starts at 9am!

Saturday, the 28th annual Running of the Bull will commence, this gathering kicks off the long 4th of July week immediately following. Our staff at the Starboard are excited to rally the community around a positive, silly event that brings everyone together for some serious smiles and laughs, adding in some community fundraising. 

We get so into the event itself, the sea of red and white, the run, and who will be the Matador, that sometimes people forget that the whole thing raises money for the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company. It’s a fun event that really goes in with a purpose! Over the years, the Running of the Bull has raised a boatload of funds for the Fire Company… and that’s nothing to shake a matador cape at!  Donations will be accepted at the door by our local volunteer fire folks, and 2025 Bull Run TShirts, Bandanas, Koozies, and more will all be available both at our t-shirt shack and by local firefighters in front, 100% of all these funds go directly to our local fire company.

Special mascot guests this year include Slapshot (Washington Capitals), Poe (Baltimore Ravens) Cocoa (Hershey Bears), and YouDee (University of Delaware)….and of course our Starboard Shark will be well represented!
