Haul out the holly! Winter WonderFEST’s Grand Opening on November 16 marks the unofficial start of the holiday season at the Delaware Beaches. There’s no better way to ignite your holiday spirit than by joining us as we open the gates to the Light Spectacular, Christmas Village, and Visit Delaware Ice Rink! This year Winter Wonderfest has a new and exciting location at Hudson Fields in Milton!
In celebration of the Grand Opening, all are invited to participate in the region’s BRIGHTEST and most unique run/walk event! Featuring a competitive 5K Run/Walk at 5:00pm and 1 Mile Fun Walk at 6:00pm, your only chance to get up close and personal with the dazzling Light Spectacular...and help us raise thousands of dollars to support Sussex County Nonprofits! Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion in holiday costumes, ugly sweaters, glow gear, and more! Your registration includes your entry into the Light Spectacular, FREE T-Shirt, a cookie & hot chocolate bar, and free Bud Light for those 21 and over. Child registrants will receive 5 FREE Village Tickets.
All of our other award winning attractions, including Schellville, the Christmas Carnival, and VisitDelaware.com Ice Rink will be open for all to enjoy! We've expanded our event this year to include the NEW Schellville North Pole Express and the Coastal Christmas Tree Farm!
The Visit Delaware Ice Rink will host public ice skating sessions November 16-December 31st. Click here to view the full ice rink session schedule. The Rink is CLOSED on all Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
