R&DFH Cocktail Experience
You’ll start off this hour-long tour with a quick overview of our distillery operations. Then, you’ll jump into recipe building and cocktail mixing, with your choice of one of two featured cocktails. You’ll then have the opportunity to test (and taste) your learnings as you mix up your very own off-centered concoction. In addition to your R&DFH Cocktail Experience, you’ll go home with a cocktail mixing kit, complete with a shaker, glass, mixing spoon, jigger and muddler in a specialty Dogfish Head bucket.
R&DFH Cocktail Experience – The Mixologist in You: Mondays at 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 each. Ticket price includes tour and cocktail mixing set (shaker, glass, mixing spoon, jigger and muddler in a specialty Dogfish Head bucket).
Sippin’ on Sonic Tour
Our Sippin’ on Sonic Tour will give you a brief look at our distillery operations while highlighting the complexity and convenience of one of our most sought-after spirits – Sonic Archeology. During this hour-long tour, you’ll have the chance to sample Dogfish Head Distilling Co. Brandy, Rum and Whiskey – the three spirits found in Sonic Archeology – for a deconstructed taste of what makes this a totally original drinking experience. Gather ‘round for a deep dive into this liquid tribute and enjoy a half pour of Sonic Archeology on the rocks while American Epic plays softly in the background. In addition to your tour and tasting, you’ll walk away with a specialty glass and 100 mL bottle of Sonic Archeology.
Sippin’ on Sonic Tour: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. (starting tomorrow, July 2). Tickets are $20 each. Ticket prices includes tour, samples, specialty glass and 100ml bottle of Sonic Archeology.
Whiskey Tour
It’s on this hour and a half long tour that you’ll receive a short history of whiskey as a whole before exploring the ever-expanding American whiskey scene. We’ll kick things off in our Grain Handling area – that’s where our whiskey story truly starts. From there we’ll sample the wort (or sweet infusion of ground malt) that ultimately brings our whiskey to life, and finally, we’ll venture outside of the rickhouse for samples. Once you’ve had your fill of all things whiskey, you’ll then have the chance to fill your very own 375 mL whiskey bottle before we part ways!
The World of Whiskey Tour: Sundays and Wednesdays at 5 p.m. Tickets are $60 each. Ticket price includes tour, samples and 375ml bottle of whiskey.
Note: In order to attend you MUST wear closed toe shoes and LONG PANTS. Capri pants are not acceptable.
