Wildlife Viewing                                                  A BIRDING PARADISE
                                                                                Southern Delaware is a popular
                                                                                stop-off point for migratory

                                                                                birds on the Atlantic Flyway.
                                                                                This translates into excellent
                                                                                birdwatching throughout the area.

                                                                                Forests, fields, freshwater ponds,
                                                                                and coastal marshes are home
                                                                                to osprey, waterfowl, raptors, and
                                                                                songbirds, among a wide variety of
                                                                                other species.

              DUPONT NATURE CENTER. Located on the banks of the Delaware Bay,
              this center offers one of the best viewing areas for spawning horseshoe
              crabs and migratory shorebirds during the peak spring and fall seasons.
              Visitors can learn about horseshoe crabs, migratory shorebirds,
