DESCRIPTION:A Maryland based cut paper artist\, Jennifer began her career a
 s a\nwatercolor painter after graduating from The Baltimore School for the
 \nArts in 2014 with a focus in painting. In the years following she\nconti
 nued to paint but became interested in the world of contemporary\npaper ar
 t. Jennifer wanted to explore a medium that was more\nsculptural and texti
 le based. She enjoys layering sheets of delicate\nhand cut paper together 
 to achieve delicate lace-like works that\ndisplay movement and texture. Ev
 erything is cut by hand using various\nsized X-acto knives. The love of na
 ture is evident in her art. Hudson\nhas always been an avid animal lover a
 nd enjoys documenting the\nnatural world in her work which is mostly inspi
 red by the landscapes\nand wild life around where she lives. The subjects 
 primarily include\nfoxes\, birds\, deer and other creatures native to nort
 h central\nMaryland. In her work it is her hope to capture the movement an
