SUMMARY:The Bronx Wanderers
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:What comes to mind when a father\, his two sons\, and their thr

 you\ncan say a diverse recipe of hilarious personal stories\, a vast\nrepe
rtoire of songs through multiple decades and genres\, and one\nfamily's jo
urney together through life and music. The Bronx Wanderers\npride themselv
es on being one of the only shows able to entertain\ngrandparents\, their
children\, and the grandchildren all in one\nsweeping musical tour de forc
 e. How do they accomplish this? Well\, the\ngeneration gap between the ban
 d members (30-plus years) forces them to\nsatisfy themselves musically\, w
hich in turn satisfies each and every\naudience they've encountered. The c
hemistry and energy they exert show\nafter show proves they are still havi
ng the best time together on\nstage and you can tell they perform each sho
 w like it's their first or\nlast.  The show's founder and patriarch\, Yo'
Vinny\, takes you on a\nmusical journey through his illustrious career in
the record business\nwhile working for Lifesong and Columbia Records sinc
e he was 17 years\nold. He's worked with too many artists to mention\, but
what he says in\nthe show is \"each song you hear tonight\, is someone I'
ve either had\nthe pleasure to produce\, sing back up for\, or worked with
  in the\nrecord industry during my 30 year career.\" For instance\, you'll
hear\nsongs by Dion and The Belmonts\, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
\,\nBilly Joel\, The Animals\, Queen\, and even an artist or two from toda
y's\ngeneration. As they say in the band and in countless reviews\,\nregar
dless of how old you are coming to the show\, everyone leaves\nfeeling lik
e they're 20 years old. The Bronx Wanderers have been going\nstrong for ov
er 16 years and have amassed many accolades such as\ntouring the entire co
 untry headlining festivals\, PACs\, and casinos\,\nsecuring a permanent re
sidency in Las Vegas from 2016 to the present\,\nfilling in for Frankie Va
lli in Dubai\, being the first and only act to\nhave opened for Tony Orlan
do and Danny Aiello\, backing Dean Martin's\ndaughter\, Deana\, for multip
le shows\, performing the national anthem\nfor the NY Rangers at Madison S
quare Garden and the NBA Summer League\nin Las Vegas\, and still managing
to have time to volunteer and do\ncharity benefits for the Win-Win Charity
  Organization\, St. Jude's\nChildren's Hospital\, and multiple Veteran's a
nd Armed Forces charities\nand galas.  As Yo' Vinny always said to his so
 ns \"work hard and do\nwell for others\, and success will follow.\" Well\,
it appears it\ncertainly has and he was right. In the first two years alo
ne of their\nLas Vegas residency\, The Bronx Wanderers are a top ten show
 on Trip\nAdvisor\, received the \"People's Choice\" Award from Vegas.com\,
received\na 5-star Yelp Award\, received the Bronze Award for \"Best New
Show\"\ntheir first year (coming in third behind Britney Spears and Backst
reet\nBoys)\, and got nominated in seven other categories in their sophomo
re\nyear. His two sons are no strangers to their own levels of success.\nH
is younger son\, Nick\, had the opportunity to drum and perform for\nFrank
ie Valli with the Chicago Jersey Boys cast and was even offered a\nrole in
Blue Man Group (but his father and brother just couldn't let\nhim go.) Th
e older son\, Vin A.\, who is the music director and producer\nfor the gro
up\, is an accomplished songwriter and arranger\, who\nrecently got to ope
n for Bon Jovi at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in\nfront of 18\,000 people
with his original music. The two sons perform\ntheir originals together wi
th their neighborhood friends and Bronx\nband mates\, Joe Bari\, Fernando
Tort\, and David Braun monthly at Las\nVegas' renowned \"Composers Showcas
e\" at the Smith Center (Las Vegas'\nversion of Lincoln Center). The Bronx
Wanderers certainly has an\ninteresting\, unique dynamic and has proven t
o be a long-lasting\nsuccess in the ever changing entertainment business.
They give the\ncredit to their loyal fans and devoted followers\, some of
which have\nbeen with them since the beginning and have had the opportunit
 y to\nwatch the boys grow from 14 and 11 years old\, to the seasoned\nprof
essionals they've become today. The boys give the credit to their\n\"Daddy
-O\" (and mother\, Carol) for holding it all together through the\ngood ti
mes and the \"not so easy\,\" and the humble father now says in\nthe show
\"I used to carry them\, but nowadays\, they are carrying me and\nI could
 n't be more proud.\" Venue: Freeman Arts Pavilion. Presenter:\nJoshua M. F
