 undbreaking work of this iconic trio. Keith Turner grew up playing\npiano 
 in the golden age of R & B\, Classic Rock\, and Motown\,the 60’s\n& 70
 ’s. He studied music at CCC while writing and performing\noriginals and 
 ELP for his class which included the late Billy Paul.\nKeith was ecstatic 
 when asked to play in Tarkus. Keith Emerson was one\nof my earliest influe
 nces shall we say “From the Beginning! Mike is\na well respected multi-i
 nstrumentalist out of the New\nJersey/Philadelphia area. Coming from a mus
 ical family\, Mike starting\nout drumming following in the footsteps of hi
 s older brother John. His\nfather was an accomplished singer and front man
 \, and Mike’s sister\nKaren plays piano. Music was always permeating thr
 oughout the\nhousehold\, including the music of Genesis\, Yes\, ELP\, and 
 The Beatles.\nMike started guitar at age 11 and had formal lessons from ja
 zz\ninstructor Bill Johnson out of New Jersey. John started drumming at\na
 ge 13. His influences include John Bonham\, Carl Palmer\, Dave Weckl\nand 
 Buddy Rich among many others. He studied with local instructors\nand playe
 d in school bands as a teenager. After years of playing in\narea clubs\, h
 e moved out west to attend The Musicians Institute in\nHollywood\, CA wher
 e he graduated with honors. John toured the Vegas\ncasino circuit and the 
 world aboard cruise ships before returning to\nhis native Delaware where h
 e seeks challenging musical opportunities\nsuch as Tarkus. Venue: Milton T
 heatre.
