r hungry paddlers\, and a shuttle service will be available to\nbring padd
lers back to their cars. $10 event registration fee does not\ninclude kaya
k or canoe rental. \n\nWHAT IS PADDLEFEST?\n\nDelaware Seashore State Par
 k's Paddlefest began in 2017\, planned as a\nspecial one-time event\, to c
elebrate the 50th anniversary of the state\npark. That first year was SO.
MUCH. FUN. \n\n\n\nPark staff and paddlefest participants knew Paddlef
est needed to be an\nannual event. In 2019\, the growing popularity of the
event led to the\ninaugural Paddlefest After-Party\, complete with food\,
beverages\, live\nmusic\, and a variety of exhibitors and vendors. Genero
us sponsors made\nthis party possible and also provided t-shirts and goody
bags for all\nparticipants!\n\nWHAT'S NEW IN 2021?\n\nYou asked\, we list
ened\, and started making plans back in September\n2019.  COVID-19 howeve
r\, brought those plans to a screeching halt.\nDue to the uncertainty of w
hat life would look like in August 2021\,\nand the extensive planning that
  Paddlefest requires\, we've decided to\ndowngrade the Paddlefest After-Pa
rty to just a few food trucks and a\nfew exhibitors.  But what matters mo
st is that we can still paddle\ntogether and there are still improvements
to look forward to:\n\n *\nNew educational stops along the course (and if
the tides allow\, the\ncourse route could be new!)\n\n *\nA digital course
map\, available on any smart phone\n\n
