 ity”\, presented by the Han-Mee Artists Association of Greater\nWashingt
 on (HMAAGW)\, celebrates the vibrant experiences and creativity\nof Korean
  American artists in the Washington\, D.C. area. Founded in\n1975\, the as
 sociation has devoted itself to preserving cultural\nheritage while champi
 oning diversity and visibility in the broader art\nworld. This exhibition 
 brings together artists whose work explores\nthemes of identity\, transfor
 mation\, and belonging\, presenting\n“liminality” as a dynamic space w
 here different cultures and\nhistories intersect\, overlap\, and flourish.
  Through painting\, drawing\,\nsculpture\, ceramics\, and mixed media\, th
 e exhibition reveals that\nidentity is a journey\, shaped by memory\, adap
 tation\, and community. By\nexploring the delicate balance between heritag
 e and change\, Mapping\nthe Liminality inspires visitors to reflect on how
  cultural boundaries\ncan present both challenges and exciting new possibi
 lities. Curated by\nJinchul Kim\, Professor of Art at Salisbury University
  and current Vice\nPresident of HMAAGW\, the exhibition honors the essenti
 al role that\nKorean American artists play in enriching conversations abou
