 Special Olympics athletes and their family\nmembers\, take the plunge into
  the icy Atlantic Ocean during the height\nof winter!\n\nOther crowd favor
 ites during the Weekend Plunge Festival include the\n5K Run to the Plunge\
 , Fire & Ice Festival\, Restaurant Chili Contest\,\nApres Plunge Party and

 nwith intellectual disabilities face doubt\, barriers and low\nexpectation
 s. For many\, Special Olympics is the only place where they\nfind an oppor
 tunity to participate in their communities\, develop\nbelief in themselves
 \, and feel like champions.\n\nFor every inspiring Special Olympics athlet
 e in Delaware there are six\nmore people waiting for their chance - and so
  many more around the\nworld. By participating in the Polar Bear Plunge\, 
 you’re helping us\nreach out to one more person who wants to participate
