 fashioned games for children on Second Street beginning at 9 am.\n Follow
 ing the games\, the Lewes Independence Day Boat Parade will\nwind its way 
 down the Lewes – Rehoboth Canal from the Roosevelt\nInlet to Fisherman
 ’s Wharf as part of the City of Lewes’ 4th of\nJuly holiday festivitie
 s\, leaving from Roosevelt Inlet at 1:30 pm and\nat approximately 2 pm the
 y will pass in front of the judges’\nreviewing stand at Fisherman’s Wh
 arf. Lewes Mayor Amy Marasco will\nannounce the parade and boats will be j
 udged on the best use of\npatriotic decorations. The Awards Ceremony will 
 be held on the deck of\nthe Lightship Overfalls at 3:30 pm.\n\nThe fun con
 tinues with the unique and quirky Doo-Dah Parade that forms\nin the vicini
 ty of Lloyd’s Market on Savannah Road and winds its way\ndown Kings High
 way to Second Street and ends on Savannah Road\, heading\nback towards Llo
 yds. No preregistration is required and everyone is\ninvited to participat
 e.  The time the parade kicks off is always\nunpredictable but that’s w
 hat makes this iconic Lewes 4th of July\ntradition so entertaining.\n
