 –\n21\, 2026. The concert will celebrate 250 years of courage\, communit
 y\,\nand the American spirit. \n\nThe program will celebrate the foundati
 ons of America. Songs include\n“Isle of Hope\, Isle of Tears\,” where 
 audiences see the Statue of\nLiberty through the eyes of a fifteen year ol
 d Irish immigrant. With\n“This Is the Dream\,” listeners are reminded 
 of the courage\, the\nhopes\, and the promises of America inspired by Mart
 in Luther King\,\nJr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Chorus singers salu
 te the Armed\nForces for their service\, while also recounting the ravages
  of war\nwith “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” and “One Tin Soldier
 .”\nSongs of protest and promise include “This Land is Your Land” an
 d\n“Lift Every Voice and Sing.”\n\nThe concert title is taken from Wal
 t Whitman’s poem by the same name\nand celebrates “America” by both 
 Neil Diamond and West Side Story.\nMore than just a patriotic exercise\, t
 his concert explores all of\nAmerican history — the struggles\, the vict
 ories\, and the hope for a\nfuture “Bound for the Promised Land.”\n\nA
 rtistic Director Doug Yetter will be accompanied by David Zipse and\nthe C
