There will be pony rides on\nthe beach of f Garfield Parkway from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. At 1 PM Santa\nwill make his tri umphant return to Town Hall to take photos with the\nchildren until 3 PM. There will also be face painters\, hot cocoa\,\ncookies\, and a station to write letters to Santa. The fun continues\ndowntown with tractor rides on the beach\, rides on the trolley\, and a\nspin on Santa’s Express (trai n) from 1 to 4 PM. A second trolley\nwill be available to transport attend ees to and from the event at the\nfollowing pick-up locations: Bethany Bea ch Books\, Grotto Pizza (next\nto the Nature Center)\, and South Coastal L ibrary until 6 PM.\n \n\nAt 5 PM the annual lighting of the holiday tree will take place on the\nBandstand Plaza. Gather with friends and family fo r a special concert\nfeaturing the Southern Delaware School of the Arts Sh ow Choir.\nSee who won the Coastal Christmas Showdown and stay for the par ty\nafter. There will be a collection of new or gently used hats\, gloves\ ,\nscarves\, and coats along with canned goods for local charities.
