ge. Recent\nworks “explore the relationships between the physical and\nm
etaphysical world.\" Many of the elements within the compositions\nare e
ither found in nature or have man-made connotations. These\nsuggestive for
ms are derived from his studies and interests in all\nsciences\, ranging f
rom the microcosm to the macrocosm. They are then\nrealized through variou
 s processes such as\; etching and collagraph\nprintmaking\, forging\, foun
dry\, and fabrication methods. “Witness of\nprocess is also an integral
part of the complete aesthetic. Tooling\nand hammer marks\, flashes and sp
lashes associated with foundry work\,\nor saw and carving marks may be lef
t on the individual elements. From\nstudio to finished piece\, the sculptu
res go through many changes\n(original ideas remaining intact). It is the
spontaneous decisions and\nchanges during the developmental stages that ma
ke work exciting\, and\nfor what I believe to be an entertaining and medit
ative art piece.\"\nLuc works out of his studio and foundry in Unionvill
e\, Maryland and he\nis a member of the TAG Gallery and the Delaplaine Art
Center in\nFrederick\, Maryland. Venue: Rehoboth Art League.
