 ’re landing at the Peninsula Gallery this April. Feathered\nFriends feat
 ures various bird portraits from 10 juried artists\, on\ndisplay at the Pe
 ninsula Gallery in Lewes\, DE from April 1st to the\n30th.  This show’s
  chirping chappies are brought to life through a\nmixture of mediums from 
 oil to fiber\, photography and sculpture\,\nhighlighting the grace\, intel
 ligence\, and whimsy of different bird\nbreeds. In the collection\, you’
 ll fly away with eagles\, egrets\,\nchickens\, robins\, flamingos\, puffin
 s\, and many more.  All of these\nmigrating fowls are depicted in a tradi
 tional realism style\, with some\nartists opting to focus on specific part
 s of the birds\, such as eyes\,\nbeaks\, or faces. Other artists have pain
 ted each detail of their\nflittering subjects\, showcasing the many colors
 \, textures\, and poses\nseen in these magical creatures. Tony Boyd-Heron\
 , the gallery’s\nco-owner and Exhibition Director\, says of the show\, 
 “Each bird\nportrait has its own playful energy that captures your imagi
 nation.\nYou’ll fall in love and be in awe of these stunning animals\, w
 anting\nto take them all home with you! This is an excellent show\, and we
 ’re\nexcited for patrons to be able to see it.”   The exhibition’s
 \ntufted friends are crafted by Jackie Atkins\, Kristin Blanck\, Carrie\nH
 ildebrand\, Virgil Holmes\, John Hoyt\, Kathryn Hunter Luciana\, Brenda\nK
 idera\, Rinal Parikh\, Maggii Sarfaty\, and Susan Shalowitz. Feathered\nFr
 iends will be on display from April 1st to the 30th. Works from the\nshow
