DESCRIPTION:A fulltime artist for 41 years now\, Dane has taken his artwork
  towards\nnew dimensions going from realism to a stylish combination devel
 oping\nhis own interpretations of surrealism and primitive elongation. He 
 has\nestablished himself as one of the premier painters of African America
 n\nArt. He has a creative approach to artistic images of the common man\,\
 nwoman\, and child. Dane’s images are inspired of African Americans in\n
 and out of daily life\, popular entertainment\, and the world of sports.\n
 He has exhibited his works throughout the United States at art\nfestivals\
 , galleries\, trade shows\, convention centers and sports areas\nwhere he 
 has received numerous awards. His work has been exhibited at\nthe African 
 American Museum in Philadelphia\, and also in one-man shows\nat Howard Uni
 versity\, Widener University\, West Chester University\,\nUniversity of Pe
 nnsylvania\, Penn State and the Butler Institute of\nFine Art in Youngstow
 n\, Ohio. He was recently commissioned to create\nartwork for the Prudenti
 al Center in Newark\, New Jersey that is\ndisplayed throughout the area’
 s public spaces\, private suites and\ncorporate offices. Fifteen paintings
  for MBNA private collection\, two\nmurals in major league ball parks\, an
 d the second black artist to have\na painting in the baseball hall of fame
 \, also on display at the Negro\nLeague Museum. Collectors of Dane’s art
 work include notables such as\nDave Winfield\, Nelson Mandela\, Bill Cosby
 \, the estate of Ossie Davis\,\nNabisco Corporation and Astra-Zeneca. In 2
 004\, Kutztown University\ncommissioned him for a commemorative poster for
  the 50th Anniversary\nof Brown vs. Board of Education. Dane has participa
