 t in the world of art\, copying can be a bit different. In the\nRenaissanc
 e copying was integral to the artistic learning process and\nin the 20th c
 entury movements like Pop Art openly borrowed from\npopular culture and ex
 isting imagery. This month the artists of\nGallery One are creating “Hom
 age” to some inspirational artist’s\nwork. Homage is defined as a resp
 ectful imitation or tribute to\nanother artist’s work\, acknowledging th
 e original source and\nhonoring its influence.  Venue: Gallery One.
