DESCRIPTION:Paul Lovett has been creating a diorama\, of Rehoboth Beach dur
ing what\nhe calls the Golden Age: 1890-1910. Last year he was able to bri
ng the\ninitial part of the diorama to the museum to talk about his resear
ch.\nSince that time he has expanded the diorama to include Rehoboth Avenu
e\nto the Atlantic Ocean. Since we were unable to have Paul bring the\ndio
rama back this year\, he created a series of videos about it and the\nhist
ory of Rehoboth Beach. We have been airing these videos on our\nwebsite an
d now are pleased to have Paul join us for this Zoom meeting\nto talk abou
t his research and answer questions about his project and\nthe videos he c
reated. \n\n \n\nAll his life Paul Lovett has spent time in Rehoboth Bea
ch along the\nLewes-Rehoboth Canal near the bridge. He has immersed himsel
f in the\nhistory of the city during the late 1800s and early 1900s\, a ti
me he\ncalls the Golden Age. His diorama is a result of his study of many\
nreference sources on this important time in Rehoboth Beach's history\,\na
nd his many interviews with local folks who have ties back to that\nearlie
