  classics\, marches\, swing\, big band\, and blues! Formed in 1996\,\nthe 
 Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band is comprised of amateur and\nprofessio
 nal musicians from New Jersey\, Pennsylvania\, Maryland\, and\nDelaware. F
 ollowing the brass banding tradition\, we are an\nall-volunteer organizati
 on. The band performs a varied repertoire of\ncontemporary and traditional
  brass band music throughout the\nMid-Atlantic region. The Chesapeake Bras
 s Band is Delaware’s only 35\npiece all-brass concert band developed in 
 the tradition of British\nBrass Bands formed during England’s industrial
  revolution of the\nlate 1800’s. Performances feature light classics\, m
 arches\, big band\,\nswing and blues with a narrative to add humor and edu
