  The trio was started in 1995 by\nbassist Rob Swanson for the sole purpose
  of playing music from classic\nChristmas cartoons\, especially the music 
 of Vince Guaraldi\, the\ncomposer of the “Peanuts” soundtracks. Since 
 it’s inception\, the\ntrio has played hundreds of shows including live a
 ppearances on NBC\,\nABC\, Fox\, and NPR. The trio was also honored to per
 form in\nPhiladelphia’s premiere music venue\, The Kimmel Center. The mu
 sic of\nVince Guaraldi\, in particular the soundtrack of the Peanuts Chris
 tmas\nCartoon\, has become one of the best selling Christmas recordings of
 \nall time. The trio performs every song from this recording\, using the\n
 exact instrumentation that Guaraldi originally composed for. In\naddition 
 to the Peanuts music\, the trio plays songs from “The Grinch\nWho Stole
