Summer 2018 Southern Delaware Tourism #MySoDelSummer Photo/Video Contest Rules:
Just upload your best Southern Delaware Summer Fun photos/videos to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #MySoDelSummer and tell us where the photo was taken. One winner will be selected each month based on which photo/video receives the greatest number of likes on any of the three social media platforms. Three individual contests will run June 1 – June 29, July 2 – July 31, and August 1 – August 31. Contests will end at 12 p.m. on final day. Winners will be notified within 5 business days. Photos must be taken in Sussex County, Delaware to be eligible. May win only once during the season. If winners do not respond within two weeks of notification, prizes will be awarded to second place finisher.
Entries become the property of Southern Delaware Tourism. By using the #MySoDelSummer hashtag your photograph(s) and/or video(s) you acknowledge and grant permission for it/them to be used in a wide variety of promotional materials including newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, correspondence, press kits, media submissions, websites, social networking sites, and other print and digital communications. If any person in your photograph or video is recognizable, you will need to be able to provide Southern Delaware Tourism a model release form signed by that person or those persons or a parent or legal guardian if the person is under 18 years of age. Images of unrecognizable people do not need model releases. Winning images of recognizable people will be disqualified if the photographer cannot provide a valid model release upon request. "Recognizable" means that a third party could identify the individual in the image, due to the visibility of any distinctive physical features, uniform, identification numbers, and so on.
