From Substance to Silver Works by Leyla D. Rzayeva

Oil paintings on canvas and linen use carefully positioned areas of bright color and figurative outline to talk about feeling, symbol, and living ritual. Representations of dancers, musicians, stylized plants and animals are set against the pigmented background of the canvas. Venue: Rehoboth Art League.

 This show will consist of a series of linocuts of Mexican artists engaged in the public arts of painting murals and printmaking as part of the political struggles following the 1910-1920 Mexican revolution, together with linocuts of iconic leaders of the Mexican war of independence and the Mexican Revolution. Venue: Rehoboth Art League.

Earrings Galore

Somewhere Else: Fiber work by New Image Artists

New Image Artists was founded in 1980 with eight members. Their goal was artistic expression through quilted pieces meant for exhibition rather than the traditional use as bed coverings. Venue: Rehoboth Art League.

The artists of the gallery will be showing new works on the theme of "Dark Shadows" Each piece will have the personal interpretation of the shape and mood created by the beauty of shadows. Venue: Gallery One.

Walking into Greatness: Bryan Stevenson
May-December
The exhibit will provide a timeline of Stevenson’s early life and his years at Cape Henlopen High School through his creation of the Equal Justice Initiative, which advocates for equal justice for marginalized communities. There will also be a section on Stevenson’s legal career and on founding the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Ala. Venue: Lydia Black Cannon Museum.
