Cake Bar
Downtown Lewes is a lovely, historic place to stroll around and shop. There are also some great little coffee shops and bakeries to enjoy on your trip, like Cake Bar. Their motto is "Come for Dessert, Stay for Dinner" which is music to my ears. You walk into a bakery case filled with delicious homemade treats.
Some menu highlights:
Crabby Mac and Cheese
Grilled Cheese with Fontina
BLT with Guacamole
Delaware Dip Sandwich (like a French Dip)
The decor is fresh and modern, with whimsical touches like crystal chandeliers. You will definitely have a lovely meal at this bake shop.
